Steve's latest marathon effort in aid of his Charitable Trust

Raising much-needed cash for the Team Hill Charitable Trust again, Shaw school teacher Steve ran a virtual marathon around town after the famed London showpiece event had been restricted to elite competitors only this year due to the coronavirus crisis.

On the road again...Steve Hill set for 'Virtual London Marathon' run

SERIAL explorer and charity fundraising teacher Steve Hill is gearing up to run the Virtual London Marathon soon. The 48-year-old deputy head at St Joseph's RC Primary School will a 26-mile course around streets near his Moorside home on Sunday, October 4.

Explorer and fundraiser Steve Hill hails team of lockdown volunteers

INTREPID explorer and teacher Steve Hill has paid tribute to his charity’s team of volunteers who have helped raise more than £10,000 for good causes and supported the elderly and vulnerable through the coronavirus pandemic. Steve launched his own charity Team Hill in August last year and has continued running marathons – several round his Moorside home – as well as orchestrating about 25 volunteer friends and relatives providing assistance in Oldham’s communities.
